Charles "Duke" Meythaler

Duke is an experienced investment industry professional. He has worked as an investment consultant, investment management executive, and as a bank trust officer. For more than two decades Duke has provided investment advisory and solutions services to a wide range of plan sponsors, including state and public pension and defined contribution retirement plans, multi-employer pension plans, religious organizations, higher education organizations, and foundation assets. Duke also has extensive experience with both domestic and global investment management firms, helping clients achieve their objectives. He advises clients, helping them analyze and implement their strategies in an appropriate governance structure, whether it is advisory, OCIO, or a hybrid model.

Duke began his career as a regulator in the Securities Division of the State of Missouri, and he served as a trust officer with banks in Missouri and Texas. He was a consultant with SEI in Texas where he worked with state, public, multi-employer, and corporate pension and retirement plans as well as educational and religious foundations. Subsequently he was an executive with SEI and helped them transition from investment consulting to an OCIO model. Duke also worked for an asset management holding company and as an executive with the investment arm of Aetna Financial Services, which became ING Investment Management. Most recently, Duke was a Principal at Mercer where he worked with a wide variety of clients and services for a decade.

Duke has a BS in Business and a JD from the University of Missouri. Duke is a member of the Missouri Bar and holds a Series 7 securities license.
